How to make the bitconnect wallet sync on Mac

This is a simple tutorial in which I am showing you how to make the bitconnect wallet sync on Mac.

One of the first issues I encountered when trying to install the Bitconnect wallet on the mac is the most common one: the wallet is not going to sync with network. When the wallet is out of sync, you won’t be able to see any transactions.

Here is an easy way on how to make the bitconnect wallet sync on a Mac

Bitconnect wallet sync on a Mac

  • Close the bitconnect wallet if it’s running
  • Download bitconnect.conf configuration file
  • Copy the file you previously downloaded into “/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/bitconnect” on your mac. You will have to replace Username with the name of your Mac.
  • You can now reopen the bitconnect wallet and it will start to sync/download block data

Invest into Bitconnect

If I become your Sponsor on BitConnect, I will return to you on BitConnect website the 7% bonus (from the amount you invest).

You just have to send me an e-mail after your first investment using the Contact page and include your username, the amount you invested and your BCC wallet address. My Bitconnect username is iulianba

Example of how much you will get back from me:

  • If you invest $100, I will send you back $5
  • If you invest $150, I will send you back $7.5
  • If you invest $1010, I will send you back $50.5

Hi there, I have tried this method at least a dozen times now, downloading this file from all over the internet, and placing it in the folder as specified. This didn’t work for me, the file is in the correct file folder, and it has been trying to syncronize for 3 days now with 0 blocks downloaded and now blue progress bar. I have $1100 that I have sent to that wallet and its still nothing but a brick. I wish I hadn’t of even bothered with this coin!

      Hello Mike,

Are you sure you placed the file on the correct path? Can you please copy and paste the path you placed it?

Make sure you press CMD+SHIFT+. (the dot key) when you browse in your user folder. This will also show the hidden files, including the Library folder.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Julian, same issue. Wallet isn’t syncing. I even tried restarting my computer. Do you think it’s a Mac OS Sierra issue?

  • J November 25, 2017 at 8:05 am

Actually, it looks like this is working, just had to give it a little time. Thanks Julian!

Hi there! I have followed the video – problem is, I cannot locate the “bitconnect” folder in the Library folder. I know where it should be and have searched all over, but with no success. What is my workaround here, can you help? Thanks!

I have this same issue…I ended up right clicking the application and clicking show contents….i pasted the file you download here…and re opened the wallet…. it now shows a syncing arrows in the bottom right corner but it still shows 0 blocks downloaded and its been about an hour….. not sure how long this takes or if this works as an alernative to not being able to fing the “bitconnect” foler in applications…

BTW @Juian the Shift+CMD+DOT does NOT work for me ….pls lmk
